Featured Exhibitions:
Joshua
was a featured artist in the KIA Faculty Show in February
and March.
On February 7th, Joshua
gave a half-hour lecture and digital slide show at the
Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, on the creation of the portrait
bust and the animal bust featured in the show, along with
printmaker and drawing instructor Vicki VanAmeyden, who
is also featured. The lecture was well attended and both
artists were well received.
The KIA Faculty
Reception was held February 10th from 5-7 pm at the Kalamazoo
Institute of Arts in conjunction with Art and all
that Jazz. Attendance was in the hundreds, and both
the portrait of Megumi K. and the howling beagle bust
of Carter received a lot of positive attention.
